Ahh? Hitoya-sensei is asking for a discount?? Freeter life not treating you well? Guess passing the fey bar would require going to law school all over again huh. w
[Rei stop negging Hitoya and get to the point.]
Sure. I'll send you a dossier.
[True to his word, Hitoya will receive a hefty file with a discounted rate to open it. The information inside goes into much more detail about the Buster Bros leader, with specifics about Ichiro's teenager haunts, his string of part-time jobs, his involvement with the Mics.
It has Ichiro's ties to Rei scrubbed from it-- that's above this particular paygrade.
If all the services rendered over the past months don't count for much, I'm sure they'd be better appreciated elsewhere.
[New year, new tax season right?
Although all further banter that might have followed falls silent as Hitoya receives the file and opens it for an initial scan. Or what he intended to be a quick scan until Kuko's name catchs his eye. Not once, nor twice, but again and again, all in the span of about a year or less.
Thinking back on it, the timeline matches up. Hitoya hadn't involved himself in Kuko's life the way he had with Jyushi. As immature and obnoxious as he was, Kuko was some who knew how to take care of himself.
It was only through his connection to Shakku and the Kugenji Temple that Hitoya even heard in passing that he had made off one day. East. He hadn't thought much of it. And as unobtrusively as he had disappeared, Kuko materialized one day, with a haunted look in his eye and not a word lower than 100 decibels for anyone that tried to bring it up.
So it was Ikebukuro. And Ichiro.
A lot of pieces that had been floating aimlessly without explanation begin to fall in to place.]

[The part about being a Leo is right up Jyushi's alley at least and he can't exactly google all the birthdays he doesn't remember here.]
Will that be the usual rate? It's for Jyushi's sake after all. Since we're both so concerned with him making responsible choices.

Thanks. Wasn't expecting a two for one deal.
